The Rockville City Police Department has announced the arrest of Isaiah Warren Simpson in Washington D.C. in connection to the August 2nd shooting that occurred in the 400 block of College Parkway.
According to RCPD, “The Rockville City Police Department worked jointly with our partners in the Montgomery County Police Department’s ROPE Unit and the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force to bring Simpson to justice. Simpson will be held in D.C. pending an extradition hearing.”
On August 2, 2024, shortly before 4:30 p.m., the RCPD and Montgomery County Fire Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 400 block of College Parkway for a shooting. The first arriving units found an adult male, outside of a residence, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
