Step into the dazzling lights and festive streets of New York City this holiday season as Bella Ballet, a premier dance studio known for empowering youth through the arts, brings its brand-new production, Holiday Spectacular, A Bella Ballet Original, to life. This family-friendly musical, written, directed, and choreographed by Hope MacDonald, also features the creative talents of Bella Ballet’s professional faculty. The production incorporates the spirit of Empower by Bella Ballet, a division of Bella Ballet designed to enhance self-expression and leadership skills through dance for older students.
Set against the iconic backdrop of New York City, Holiday Spectacular follows the story of Noelle, a wise and caring 12-year-old, who leads her sisters on a magical journey through the city’s enchanting holiday lights and bustling streets. As they explore the heart of the Big Apple, they discover that the true magic of the holidays lies in believing in themselves and helping others. With vibrant costumes, dazzling set designs, and captivating dance numbers—including a showstopping, Broadway-inspired routine reminiscent of the world-renowned Radio City holiday performances—this production promises to enchant audiences of all ages.

Featuring show stopping performances like Snowflakes on Fifth Avenue and Underground Elves, the production brings together dancers from Bella Ballet’s and Empower by Bella Ballet’s talented ensemble, ages 3 to 18, as well as their professional faculty. Audiences can expect the charm and energy of New York’s holiday season, all captured in this spectacular production.
As part of Bella Ballet’s commitment to giving back, audience members are encouraged to bring a toy, which will be donated to 4 Seasons Giving Tree. Additionally, a percentage of the event’s proceeds will support this local organization, fulfilling the immediate needs of disadvantaged families and spreading the holiday spirit of giving within the community.
