The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a fatal collision in Rockville where a 28-year-old man was struck by a Lexus while crossing Veirs Mill Road on October 30; he later died from his injuries on November 11, and authorities are seeking any witnesses.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 5:24 a.m., 28-year-old Gaithersburg resident Luis Rios Chirinos was hit by a black Lexus GS while trying to cross Veirs Mill Road from the median. The driver of the Lexus remained at the location and is cooperating with the investigation.
Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue were dispatched to the intersection and Chirinos was transported to an area hospital, where he later died on Monday, November 11th.
