A 13-year-old boy has been charged with two commercial burglaries in Rockville, committed alongside an 11 and 12-year-old, after the trio was caught with stolen property from Superior Auto Service and RMA Transportation in Rockville.
According to Montgomery County Police, “On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., officers from the 1st District responded to the Superior Auto Service in the 12200 block of Wilkins Avenue for the report of a commercial burglary.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the three juveniles forced entry into the business, stole property and left the scene. While officers were on scene at the Superior Auto Service investigating, a second report came in for a commercial burglary at RMA Transportation in the 12200 block of Wilkins Avenue.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the three juveniles entered RMA Transportation, which was closed for business. Employees, who were still in the building confronted the juveniles, who then ran from the scene.
The juveniles were located in the area with stolen property from the business in their possession. The three juveniles were transported to the 1st District Station.
The 11 and 12-year-old boys were released to their guardians. The 13-year-old was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and conspiracy, and then released to their guardian.”
