Whip Clean Car Wash is requesting approval to construct a new 11,378 square foot automatic car wash facility, about 500SF smaller than what was in the original application, at 353 Muddy Branch Rd in Gaithersburg.
At a Gaithersburg City Council meeting earlier this year, representatives from ‘Whip Clean’ Car Wash presented the application, plans, and renderings of the proposed concept site plan for a new 11,852 square foot (the new application has a slightly smaller building) automatic car wash facility to be located at 353 Muddy Branch Rd. in Gaithersburg’s Festival at Muddy Branch shopping center.
At that time, the application was approved with one condition being that the applicant must submit revised plans that reflect the updated building elevations, prior to final signature of plans. Updated plans have been submitted, can be viewed on the City of Gaithersburg website. The car wash would be built right off of Muddy Branch Rd, across from the existing Lotte Market, and next to the existing Best Friends Pet Resort, in the shopping center that’s already home to Planet Fitness, Family Dollar, and more.
The City of Gaithersburg has shared that a public hearing with the Planning Commission has been scheduled on November 20, 2024 in the Council Chambers at 16 South Summit Avenue.
