Montgomery Parks is hosting a virtual community meeting on plans to renovate the playground at Laytonsville Local Park (7620 Brink Road
Laytonsville, MD 20882). The public is invited to provide input about the renovation by attending the online meeting on December 11, 2024, and taking an online survey.
The playground renovation project will remove the existing play equipment and relocate the playground to a more accessible location. New equipment for children ages 2 – 12 years old will be installed.
Laytonsville Local Park is an 11.4-acre park that includes a parking lot, playground, picnic shelter, basketball court, softball field, and soccer field. The park was acquired by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission in 1968.
