Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) have responded to a collision involving several vehicles on northbound I-270 Wednesday afternoon.
According to MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, the crash occurred on northbound I-270 between Watkins Mill Road and Middlebrook Road in the area of Exit 13B. Per Piringer, the collision “involves four or five vehicles, including tractor trailer” and some lanes are currently blocked. No word on any potential injuries at the moment.

12:54pm update: All Northbound lanes of I-270 at Middlebrook Rd (Exit 13) have reopened. Expect residual delays.
