Play Street Museum will open its first Montgomery County location at 227 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg in mid-2025. It will be taking over the space that is currently occupied by Hallmark, which will be closing after the holiday season.
A Montgomery County native will be bringing Play Street Museum to Montgomery County. It is described as a unique indoor kids’ playground for ages 0-7, offering educational and collaborative play, with pottery and art for older kids. The upcoming Kentlands location will have open play during the week (by reservation for cleanliness) and birthday parties on weekends.
The owner of the upcoming business tells us, “As a small business owner and dad to a 5-year-old, I’m passionate about bringing this enriching experience to our community.” We will have additional opening information after renovations begin and we move closer to the estimated Summer 2025 opening.
