The 24th Annual After School Dance Fund (ASDF) Baila4Life Latin Dance Competition showcased an extraordinary array of talent and enthusiasm as hundreds of students from Montgomery County gathered at The Music Center at Strathmore for a vibrant celebration of dance on November 25.
Supported by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), the event brought together high school dancers for an unforgettable day filled with rhythm, energy, and competition. The results and a video of the competition are available below, courtesy of MCPS.
Participants showcased their skills in various Latin dance categories, including cha-cha, merengue, bachata, salsa, parent-student duets, and group performances. Each category provided dancers with the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, teamwork, and passion for movement, with schools from across the region competing for top honors.
The Baila4Life competition not only highlighted the impressive talents of young dancers but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among participants and their families.
