Quincy’s in Gaithersburg, located at 616 Quince Orchard Rd. in Quince Orchard Plaza, will be showing the Maryland 4A State Championship football game on the big screen on Friday night. The game, featuring the Quince Orchard Cougars and Wise Pumas, will take place Friday night at 7:30pm.
Quincy’s will be offering “tailgating specials” as early as 4pm in preparation for the big game, which will be shown on the big screen for those who came make it to Annapolis. As noted in the official preview and prediction for the game, one of these two teams has won every 4A state title since 2015. The Pumas hold a 3-2 series edge, but the Cougars have won the last two.
Quincy’s also recently provided a team meal for the Quince Orchard High School football team and coaches, and will be doing the same prior to today’s game as the restaurant has been doing during the holiday season for years. The restaurant/bar, which opened in 2008, is named for Quince Orchard area and specifically the school’s mascot Quincy. Quincy’s has additional locations in Damascus and Potomac with a new Kentlands “Club House” location opening in 2025.
