Germantown Native and Northwest High School Alumna, Caitlyn Kumi, Makes 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 List

Caitlyn Kumi, a Germantown native who graduated from Northwest High School in 2017, has made the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the ‘Marketing & Advertising’ category. She is the founder of Miss EmpowHer– a digital media company that generates more than 1 million monthly impressions from young women through online content and community events.

Caitlyn also attended Germantown Elementary School and Roberto Clemente Middle School prior to going to Northwest High School. “Being a part of the Ulysses Program at Northwest High School helped me improve my confidence and helped me realize that I have the power to influence people and decision makers by sharing my knowledge, research, and resources.” She tells us. “I hope to show others from my community what’s possible from our great public school system.”

Per Forbes, “The startup (Miss EmpowHer) has collaborated with brands like Dove, SoFi, Clinique, Jergens, Poppi and Kendra Scott. And Kumi counts more than 180,000 social media followers across Miss EmpowHer platforms. Along with Miss EmpowHer, Kumi is a full-time integrated marketing manager for brand activation and engagement at Google.”
