Did you know that there’s a Tottenham Hotspur supporters club located right here in Montgomery County? We stopped by a recent watch party held at Saints Row Brewery in Olde Towne Gaithersburg and were able to witness an incredible display of support with dozens of fans rooting on their team’s every move.
Launched in 2023, Montgomery County Spurs, or MoCo Spurs for short, is an Official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Club located in Montgomery County. The club partners with Saints Row Brewing in Gaithersburg as their home bar (map) and if there’s a Spurs game on, you’re likely to find the club watching at the brewery.
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is a Premiere League football club based in Tottenham, north London, England. Formed in 1882 as “Hotspur Football Club” by a group of schoolboys, it was renamed to “Tottenham Hotspur Football Club” in 1884, and is commonly referred to as “Tottenham” or “Spurs”. The next MoCo Spurs watch party will take place on Sunday, December 15th (Southampton vs Spurs) at 2pm. “All local Spurs supporters are welcome to join us!” We have a couple additional photos of last week’s event below.
“Saints is a family-friendly brewery located in the Olde Towne part of Gaithersburg, and boasts an open and airy taproom right beside the brewery. Started in 2017, Saints is now expanding its offerings through small batch coffee roasting. The bartenders are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about their craft and rotating food trucks and other pop-up food options regularly populate the parking lot. But Saints also always welcomes you to bring you own nosh. Friendly, leashed dogs are also welcome both inside and on the outdoor patio!”
