A traffic stop by the Montgomery County Police Department’s (MCPD) 3rd District Community Action Team in Silver Spring led to the safe seizure of a fully loaded Glock handgun and the arrest of the individual in possession.
According to Montgomery County Police Police 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos on Twitter/X, “Traffic stop results in the seizure of another illegally possessed handgun 🔫🚔Members of your @mcpnews 3rd District Community Action Team (DCAT) / Holiday Crime Detail officers conducted a traffic stop in the Greencastle Rd area of Silver Spring.
During the traffic stop the subject was found to have a fully loaded Glock handgun in their waistband. Officers safely seized the gun and the adult subject was transported to central processing and booked.”
