MCDOT to Adjust Ride On Bus Schedules for 27 Routes Starting January 12, 2025

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust schedules for 27 Ride On bus routes starting January 12, 2025, to improve efficiency and reliability, with updated schedules available online and in print.

Per MCDOT: “The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust 27 Ride On bus route schedules starting Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 to improve efficiency and on-time performance. The changes reflect a shift of resources to allow for more reliable service where demand is higher. The new schedules will be available at rideonbus.com and in print.

Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older, persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.
