Montgomery County’s Department of Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) “upgraded retail concept” Oak Barrel & Vine is now open at 5390 Westbard Ave in Bethesda.
It replaces the previous Montgomery County ABS location at 5432 Westbard Ave, which was demolished during the $37 million first phase of the Westbard Square redevelopment project.
The store will hold a special “Highly Allocated Products” event this Saturday. According to ABS, “To celebrate the opening of the Westbard Oak Barrel & Vine, we are offering a special release of #ABSHAL products, including sought-after bourbons, whiskeys, and other small-batch spirits. See what’s available at this special release on Saturday, Dec. 28, at Westbard only. www.montgomerycountymd.gov/abs/hal/index.html“
The entire Westbard Square project should be complete by 2027. Additional information can be found here.
