Back in January we let you know that Eggspectation, a restaurant that serves “elevated American cuisine with a lengthy all-day breakfast menu alongside hearty lunch and dinner fare”, is returning to Montgomery County with its upcoming Burtonsville location. “Early 2025” is now the anticipated opening timeframe for the Burtonsville location and additional locations in Annapolis and Columbia.
After a previous expected opening timeframe of fall 2024 for the Burtonsville restaurant, an “early 2025” timeframe is now listed. Recently, a $1.2 million permit was issued for the interior construction of the space so it may be a few more months until that restaurant is ready to go. In Annapolis (Anne Arundel County), the restaurant is coming to 2924 Riva Rd. Ste 200, and in Columbia (Howard County) the restaurant will be moving in to 6100 Merriweather Dr. Ste 120.
Eggspectation left Montgomery County in September of 2020 after 15 years in Downtown Silver Spring. The restaurant plans to return early next year with its new location at the renovated Burtonsville Crossing shopping center (15701 Columbia Pike). “What started as one location in Montreal is now a thriving franchise spanning six countries. eggspectation boasts 30 years of success serving our guests across the globe!
