The Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club was ranked the No. 9 swim team in the U.S. by USA Swimming for 2024 and earned Gold Medal Club status for the second consecutive year, placing it among the top 1% of over 2,800 teams nationwide.
Per the City of Rockville: “Congratulations to the Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club, a joint program between the Rockville and Montgomery County recreation departments, for being named by USA Swimming the No. 9 swim team in the United States for 2024 out of 2,800 registered clubs.
RMSC was also recognized as a Gold Medal Club by USA Swimming for the second consecutive year. With more than 2,000 swim teams across the United States, Gold Medal status recognizes the top 1% of those teams.”
According to its website, “The Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC) is one of the most successful age group and senior level swim teams in the United States. Located just outside Washington, DC in Montgomery County, Maryland, RMSC currently has over 80 coaches working with more than 1700 swimmers at 5 sites. RMSC is operated as a joint program between the City of Rockville and Montgomery County Recreation (MCR). Each of the RMSC sites offers a full program for competitive swimmers at every level from mini-team through national caliber. Our sites are located throughout Montgomery County in Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Olney, and Germantown.
