The National Weather Service (NWS) has potential snow totals yet again as we move closer to the start of storm– currently expected to begin between 9pm-11pm tonight.
Now, the expected snowfall map shows a range of 8-12” for much of the area with northern areas in the 6-8” range. The “high end amount” has been increased to 13-16” while the “low end amount” is now up to 4 inches for most of the area.
The NWS writes, “Be ready for heavy snow tonight-Monday AM. This will severely hamper transportation. It is highly recommended to postpone non-essential travel.” Precipitation is expended to end by 11pm Monday-1am Tuesday.
