The National Weather Service has expanded the Winter Storm Warning to now include almost all of Maryland and all of Northern Virginia. It goes in effect at 10pm tonight (Sunday) and lasts until 1am Tuesday morning.
The latest maps by the National Weather Service (available below) show expected snowfall of 6-11” for most of Montgomery County, 5-10” for DC, and 5-9” for Frederick. The “high end amount” map shows 12-14” for most of the area, while then”low end amount” map shows 3-4.”
In the last map below, you’ll see the probability of each area receiving 6” or more. Montgomery County appears to be in the 65-77% range, depending on your exact location. Below you’ll see expected snowfall for specific locations, by the National Weather Service (they do not list all locations):
