The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) had a busy shift on January 6, 2024, responding to an overturned vehicle on Connecticut Avenue and a working apartment fire in Glenmont during the winter storm’s final hours.
According to the KVFP on Instagram, “The Monday Night Volunteers had a busy shift on 6 January 2024 during the closing hours of the winter storm, including an overturned vehicle on Connecticut Avenue and a working apartment fire in Glenmont. Many side roads are still dangerous today – be aware and take care.”
