Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision on I-370 between Shady Grove Metro access and Frederick Rd (355) involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Tuesday morning.
At 8:13am, Alert Montgomery sent the following message: “Traffic incident closes multiple lanes northbound I-270 before Montrose Rd. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
Earlier in the morning, Alert Montgomery issued the following update at 7:53am: “Traffic incident closes 2 right lanes westbound I-370 at Frederick Rd. Also closes the westbound I-370 exit ramp at Frederick Rd. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, the driver, who was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries, escaped uninjured, and the scene was handed over to MCPD and ICC PD.
