MCDOT Updates Ride On Bus Schedules for 27 Routes to Enhance Efficiency and Reliability

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) updated schedules for 27 Ride On bus routes on January 12, 2025, to improve efficiency and on-time performance. Full details below courtesy MCDOT:

“The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) adjusted 27 Ride On bus route schedules on Sunday, Jan. 12, to improve efficiency and on-time performance. The changes reflect a shift of resources to allow for more reliable service where demand is higher. The new schedules are available at rideonbus.com and in print.

Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older, persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.
