The Montgomery County Department of Transportation has released a list of transportation-related holiday schedules for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 20:
- County offices – Will be closed.
- Ride On, extRa and Flex bus services – Will operate on a Holiday schedule.
- Ride On Flash bus service – The Orange line will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule. The Blue line (typically, weekday only) will not be in service.
- TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center – Will be open 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
- TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store – Will be closed.
- Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton Public Garages, Lots and Curbside Meters – Will be free.
- Metrorail service – Will operate on a TBD schedule from 4 a.m. to midnight. View timetables here.
- Metrobus service – Will operate on a Saturday and Supplemental schedules. View timetables here.
- MARC Train service – Will operate on full service on all three lines (Penn, Camden and Brunswick). Will not operate the “R” schedule. Learn more at mta.maryland.gov/marc-holiday-service.
- MTA Commuter bus service – Will not be in service, except for Route 201 (Gaithersburg/BWI Business District) which will operate on a Weekend/Holiday “S” Schedule.
