Sentinel Real Estate Corp. has made a significant investment in the DC Metro Area– acquiring two recently constructed multifamily buildings for over $317 million. Among these properties is Rockwell at Crown, formerly known as Aventon Crown, in Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown neighborhood.
The firm paid $150 million for Rockwell at Crown, which boasts 386 apartment units ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes. This property features 3,692 square feet of ground-floor retail space and an “array of amenities designed to enhance the living experience, including a pool, fitness center, firepit, and a community area equipped with a residents-only podcast studio.”
In addition to Rockwell at Crown, Sentinel also acquired Brentford at the Mile in Tysons, VA for $167.25 million. The apartment building, completed in December 2022, offers 411 units.
