Back in October, Baltimore Police arrested 24-year-old John Callis of Baltimore following the brutal assault that was captured in a viral video of the man assaulting two Washington Commanders fans following this past season’s Ravens/Commanders game. The man was arrested, and today he was sentenced.
Per ABC7’s Scott Abraham, Callis “pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree assault today after a viral video showed him punching Commanders fans. He was sentenced to serve five years of probation, 100 hours of community service and attend treatment programs.”
Callis was seen on video assaulting two 23-year-old males following an NFL game. The video, which has been viewed millions of times across multiple platforms, showed a man who has been identified as Callis walking down South Charles Street in Baltimore and seeking out two Commanders fans who appear to be walking down the street. The man identified as Callis then kicks and punches one fan while pushing another into a wall before walking off flexing his bicep and saying “I don’t lose.”
