AH’HAAN Will Feature Thai Cuisine and an Unlimited Brunch When It Opens This Spring

Owner Nina Laohapant has shared with us that she is aiming for a March opening for her new restaurant, AH’HAAN– located at 237 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg.

This full-service Thai establishment aims to bring back some of the beloved original dishes from the iconic Bangkok Garden, which served the Bethesda community for an impressive 37 years. The upcoming restaurant will be taking the space that was previously home to Good Fortune Cafe for nearly thirty years.

AH’HAAN will feature a full bar and shared with us that they’re “committed to providing a unique dining experience.” One of the standout offerings will be an unlimited brunch that will include lychee and passionfruit mimosas, paired with an array of innovative Thai brunch dishes. Guests can look forward to specialties such as lobster khao soy eggs Benedict and pandan waffles, showcasing a creative twist on traditional flavors.

Currently, Bangkok Garden operates in Wintergreen Plaza (Rockville, MD) and also has a location in Pasadena, MD. The legacy of Bangkok Garden continues with AH’HAAN, promising both nostalgia and new culinary adventures for patrons. WE’ll have an update with the opening date as soon as it’s available.
