Driver Charged with Crack Cocaine Possession After Crashing Into Tree

Maryland-National Capital Park Police (Montgomery County Division) announced that on January 23, 2025, they responded to a crash on Beach Drive and Cedar Lane, where the driver was found in possession of a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine and charged with DUI, possession of CDS, and intent to distribute.

Park Police posted the following on its social media pages, “On 1/23 we responded with @mcfrs to Beach Dr and Cedar Ln for a vehicle that crashed into a tree. The driver was found to be in possession of a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine. The driver was charged with DUI CDS and possession with intent to distribute.”
