Latest Forecasted Snow Totals From All Major Networks

The Winter Storm Warning will go into effect 1pm on Tuesday afternoon and last until 7am Wednesday morning. We’ve compiled the latest maps we can find from the four major networks to show you what they’re thinking (all maps available below):

NBC4 remains the most optimistic when it comes to higher snow totals, going with 4-8 inches for most of Montgomery, Howard, Loudoun, Prince George’s counties and other surrounding areas (including DC). They have areas like Frederick and Carroll counties in the 3-5 inch range.

FOX5 slightly decreased totals since yesterday, now going with 3-6 inches for most of Montgomery, Howard, Loudoun, Prince George’s counties and other surrounding areas (including DC). They have areas like Frederick and Carroll counties in the 2-4 inch range.

ABC7 has the lowest projected snowfall with Montgomery, Howard, Loudoun, Prince George’s counties and other surrounding areas (including DC) in the 3-6 inch range and areas north in the 1-3 inch range.

WUSA9 is going with a general 4-6+ range, but has it only go up as far as the middle of Montgomery and Loudoun counties, and only includes a small portion of Howard County. Areas north are in their 2-4 inch range.
