Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) District 2 officers responded to a homeowner’s report of suspicious activity on a home camera, leading to the arrest of suspects attempting to break into homes, sheds, and garages after a lengthy foot chase Thursday near Garrett Park.
According to a social media post by District 2 Commander Amy Daum, “2D officers responded to a call where a homeowner observed suspicious activity on their home camera. Officers learned that subjects were attempting to break into homes and stealing from sheds and garages. They were able to apprehend the suspects… one after a lengthy foot pursuit. Charges were placed. Great work! Special thanks to @ParkPolice @MontCoExec @NataliFGonzalez @BCCCenter”
