Montgomery County Man Driving on Suspended License Dies at Scene of Two-Vehicle Crash in Frederick County; Second Driver Succumbs to Injuries

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, at approximately 6:38 p.m., Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision that killed both drivers in the area of Buckeystown Pike, just south of Adamstown Road.

Per FCSO: “Preliminary investigation indicates that James Henry Walker, 43, of Dickerson, MD, was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry traveling southbound when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2014 Hyundai Sonata traveling northbound, driven by Caitlynn Nicole James, 31, of Frederick, MD.

Walker was pronounced deceased at the scene. James sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Based on the initial findings, contributing factors related to Walker’s actions include excessive speed, failure to drive right of center, and operating a vehicle on a suspended license.
