Forever 21 Begins Store Closing Sales

Forever 21 at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda is closing, with “everything must go” and “all sales final” signs posted over the weekend.

A store representative stated that the going-out-of-business sale is expected to last two to three months, with current discounts ranging from 10% to 40% off. Forever 21, a fast-fashion retailer known for trendy and affordable clothing, previously had Montgomery County locations in at Ellsworth Place in Downtown Silver Spring, Wheaton Mall, and the now-closed Lakeforest Mall.

In January, Aeropostale closed at Montgomery Mall, and signage is now up for Garage, which will take over that space. The news of Forever 21’s “everything must go” sales were first reported by Robert Dyer.
