Duke’s Grocery, a DC-based, East London-inspired gastropub, has provided an update via Instagram showing plenty of progress as the restaurant prepares to open this spring. The Instagram post, which can be viewed below, shows a preview of the restaurant’s interior.
Duke’s Grocery will be located at 10128 River Road in the Potomac Village shopping center, in the space previously occupied by Lock 72 Kitchen & Bar, which closed in October 2023. Currently, Duke’s Grocery has DC locations in DuPont, Woodley Park, Foggy Bottom, and Navy Yard.
According to Duke’s, “Guests at the Potomac location can expect the menu to include Duke’s Grocery staples such as massive sarnies (sandwiches), seasonal bevvies (cocktails), hearty salads, local beers, and a robust wine list alongside crowd favourites such as the Proper Burger®, white truffle mac and cheese, fish and chips, and full English breakfasts during brunch.”
