Wheaton’s Ooh La La Bakery, which opened at 2600 University Blvd W in Wheaton back in November 2020, will be opening its second location at 8231 Woodmont Ave. in Bethesda.
The bakery will be taking over the space that was previously home to The Shop Salon. The Shop moved within Bethesda, to 7700G Wisconsin Ave., about a year ago. Ooh La La Bakery has just received a $120,000 fitout in the 1800 SF location, according to Maryland Newsletters.
Ooh La La is described as an authentic French bakery. “At Ooh La La Bakery, you’ll find the tastiest French baked goods and coffees served daily. From warm and fluffy to decadent and dreamy, we’ve got the recipe for a truly sweet day. We long to see the smiles that our treats can bring to everyone who visits. Isn’t it time you stopped by? Come visit us and start your day with an authentic experience of a Parisian style French Café/ bakery.” An opening timeframe is not yet available.
