Update: The Montgomery County Police Department has provided an update about the now-fatal crash.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon on Olney-Sandy Spring Road (Rt. 108) near Prince Philip Drive in Olney, involving four vehicles, one with entrapment.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, emergency crews extricated a trapped driver and are evaluating at least three patients, including one Priority 1 trauma. Some lanes on Rt. 108 between Old Baltimore Road and Prince Philip Drive are blocked due to the incident.
