At 8:25am, the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) shared a traffic alert regarding a water main break that has Clopper Rd. closed from Game Preserve Rd. to Waring Station Rd. in Germantown.
At 8:40am, Alert Montgomery sent out a severe traffic alert stating the following: “Emergency utility work closes Clopper Road (MD-117) in both directions between Waring Station Road and Game Preserve Road. Anticipate closure through remainder of the day and expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
