Most of us have seen the memes highlighting the unpredictability of Maryland weather through the years (one of them is our featured photo). Coming off of plenty of cold and some winter weather the last few weeks, we will catch a little bit of a break this coming week.
Temperatures may reach the upper 40s today, but most of the week will see temperatures in the mid 50s and possibly reaching 60° at some point during the week after a fairly cold stretch that mainly saw warmer temps coupled with high winds or rain.
Monday and Tuesday will both reach the mid to upper 50s with plenty of sunshine. Wednesday will be partly sunny and mild with temperatures very close to 60°, which may fall under the “Spring of Deception” category of the popular meme, as we are likely not done with cold temperatures this winter.
The warm temperatures look like they’ll stick around on Thursday, but rain also looks likely. As we head toward the weekend, it looks like things will cool down Friday and Saturday (highs in the mid 40s) and an even colder Sunday with a high around 40°. Maybe that’s when we enter “Third Winter.”
