The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday afternoon near the 19100 block of Montgomery Village Avenue.
According to MCPD, officers responded at approximately 10:49 a.m. to a report of an armed robbery in the area. A preliminary investigation revealed that a male suspect threatened the victim with a pocketknife and stole her purse. Officers later recovered the purse and phone, though it is unclear what was taken.
No injuries were reported, the scene is secure, and the suspect remains at large. The investigation is ongoing.
