Washington Capitals & Bethesda Row Announce a Spring Pop-Up Event For March 19th

The Washington Capitals, in collaboration with Bethesda Row, will host a vibrant “Shop for the Cause” pop-up event on The Lane on Wednesday, March 19th, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. This occasion promises an afternoon filled with fun activities, entertainment, and an opportunity to support a great cause.

The event will feature live music by DJ Chris Styles, creating a lively atmosphere as attendees gather to celebrate the season. From 4:30 to 5:30 PM, fans will have the chance to meet Capitals alumnus and Monumental Sports Network analyst Alan May, as well as Monumental Sports Network Capitals host Alexa Landestoy. Photo opportunities will also be available with the beloved Capitals mascot, Slapshot.

In addition to the festivities, attendees can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win Capitals tickets and participate in exciting prize giveaways. A highlight of the event will be the reveal of an original mural by artist Hiba Alyawer, adding a creative touch to the celebration.

The event will also serve as a spring fundraiser. From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, select participating stores at Bethesda Row will donate 10% of their sales proceeds to the Washington Capitals’ Capital Impact Fund. This initiative aims to increase access to hockey by reducing financial barriers, ensuring that more individuals can enjoy the sport.
