The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) has scheduled roadway patching work on sections of Piney Branch Road and Philadelphia Avenue in Takoma Park.
The work, being performed by a contractor for the State Highway Administration, may impact traffic flow and require flagging operations. The scheduled work includes:
- Piney Branch Road – From Eastern Avenue to Arliss Street, beginningMarch 25, 2025
- Philadelphia Avenue – Between Piney Branch Road and Carroll Avenue, beginning April 1, 2025
