The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a residential burglary in Chevy Chase.
According to MCPD, on March 21, 2024, a man entered a garage in the 5600 block of Grove Street through an unlocked side door and stole an electric bike before leaving the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male in his fifties or sixties, wearing a Mickey Mouse hat, sunglasses, a gray jacket, blue jeans, and white and gray shoes.
Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip at www.crimesolversmcmd.org or call 1-866-411-8477. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000, and anonymity is guaranteed.
