The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Monday night on New Hampshire Avenue.
According to MCPD:
“At approximately 10:54 p.m., on Monday, March 17, the adult female driver of a 2024 white Honda Accord crashed into a tree on eastbound Ashton Road, at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue. Montgomery County Police – 4th District officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location where first-responders provided life-saving efforts, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this fatal collision and more information will be released as it becomes available, including the name of the decedent, following proper notification of next of kin.”
