Miami-Based Italian Bakery to Open First Maryland Location

Rosetta Bakery, an authentic Italian bakery chain based in Miami, is set to open its first Maryland location at 4901 Fairmont Ave. in Bethesda– the former home of Pitango, Tapa Bar, and Blackfinn.

The upcoming location was reported by Robert Dyer and marks Rosetta Bakery’s move into the DC Metro area. The chain is known for its artisanal coffee and baked goods, including signature croissants, famous Bombolone, focaccia, sandwiches, pizza, and a variety of desserts.

Guests can watch the bakers in action through a glass wall that provides a captivating view into the bustling kitchen, and they can select their favorite pastries from enticing window displays. Open from morning until night, Rosetta Bakery locations offer grab-and-go options– usually with indoor and outdoor seating.

An opening date is not yet available and we have reached out to the company for additional information regarding the opening timeframe.
