Two Local Businesses Collaborate to Create a New Beer

Two Montgomery County based businesses– Saints Row Brewing and the La Casita family of restaurants– have joined forces to launch a truly locally inspired Latino beer. The new brew, named El Rancho, is a Central American-style lager featuring a blend of American and Neomexicanus hops. Described as bright, clean, and crisp with a hint of citrus, El Rancho is brewed exclusively at Saints Row Brewing in Olde Towne Gaithersburg.

La Casita, a DMV favorite, was founded in Silver Spring in 2002 and has since expanded to include locations in Gaithersburg, Laurel, Union Market, Nationals Park, and Silver Spring. Their commitment to authentic Latino cuisine and culture blends perfectly with the innovation behind El Rancho.

After operating in Rockville for more than four years, Saints Row Brewing moved its operations to Olde Towne Gaithersburg at 15 Fulks Corner Ave a few years back– a relocation seen as a homecoming for one of the owners, who grew up in the East Deer Park neighborhood, is an alumnus of Gaithersburg High School, and is currently raising his family in Washington Grove.

The collaboration between Saints Row Brewing and the La Casita family is a testament to local pride and creativity. With El Rancho, communities across the area can enjoy a beer that not only reflects their diverse heritage but also highlights the rich craft brewing talent of the region.
