The Spring Makers Market will be returning to Grand Corner Avenue at Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront on Saturday and Sunday (May 3 and 4) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
The event will feature handmade items from local artisans, live music, and food and beverage options from BurgerFi and True Food Kitchen. Visitors will also have the opportunity to try their luck at Nando’s prize wheel.
In addition, attendees can visit the Locally Crafted Patch Bar, where they can create a one-of-a-kind accessory by customizing a tote bag with a large patch and an additional accessory patch. Other patches, pins, and chains are available to further personalize the bag, with designs being heat-pressed on site.
A special promotion is being offered: customers who make a purchase of $50 or more at any of the participating Rio shops will receive a complimentary custom tote bag, while supplies last (one per customer). Participating shops include Amazing Lash, Barnes & Noble, Bluemercury, Chico’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, IKEA, IT’SUGAR, Le Macaron, LensCrafters, Locally Crafted Shop, LOFT, South Moon Under, and White House Black Market.
