Lineup Announced for 2025 Hometown Holidays Festival

The City of Rockville has announced the lineup for its Hometown Holidays festival, taking place at Rockville Town Center in May, featuring two days of local entertainment, food, shopping, and community activities, followed by the city’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade.

The festival, returning to its original location for the first time since 2019, will have a local, community-based focus with live music, artisan vendors, children’s activities, and food from local restaurants, while the Memorial Day Parade on May 26 will showcase over 60 groups celebrating the theme “Magic in America.”

Bands/artists announced include The Nighthawks (blues), The Warped Tour Band (punk/emo), Mad Decent (70’s), The Hillbilly Biscuits (bluegrass), and Ms. Nikki’s Music Class (kids).

Last year, Everclear headlined the event on Sunday and packed the park with hundreds of residents who poured in to catch a performance by alternative rock band. While the event was considered a success, many residents shared the sentiment of wanting it to return to Rockville Town Center.
