Permanent Signage Up at Wegmans Ahead of June Opening

Back in February, Wegmans announced that its new location at Twinbrook Quarter in Rockville will begin welcoming customers on Wednesday, June 25. Permanent signage has now been installed at the upcoming store.

The 80,000 square-foot store at 1590 Rockville Pike will employ approximately 400 people.

“We are thrilled to become a part of this vibrant community,” said Rockville Store Manager Jamie Dominick. “Our hiring process is in full swing, and we are looking for driven individuals who share our passion for people and food.”

The store will feature a variety of traditional departments, including prepared foods such as sushi, pizza, chef-made salads, and sandwiches, as well as a diverse produce section with a wide range of fruits and vegetables. Customers can also expect a broad selection of seafood, meat, bakery, deli, and cheese products. For added convenience, drive-through curbside lanes will be available for online grocery and Meals-To-Go pickups. The store will operate daily from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Wegmans opened its first Montgomery County location at 20600 Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown in 2013.
