On Friday, the Frederick County Grand Jury returned seven indictments. Among those charged is Montgomery County man Tevis Denver Findlater, 27, of Silver Spring, who faces two counts of first-degree assault, four counts of second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property (valued at less than $1,000), possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and six counts of violating his release conditions.
According to WFMD, On Monday, March 31, Frederick Police Officers responded to a domestic incident on the 900 block of West Patrick Street. They discovered signs of a struggle in a room and found a woman with extensive bleeding and a large contusion on her forehead. The victim was transported to Frederick Health Hospital, where medical staff confirmed she had suffered a broken back.
During the investigation, police searched the residence and found 30 grams of a white, powdery substance on Findlater’s person. They stated that the quantity of drugs and packaging suggested an intent to distribute. Findlater was subsequently taken into custody. A mugshot was not provided.
