Advance Auto Parts is going to be taking over the space that was recently home to Walgreens at 12222 Veirs Mill Rd. in the Randolph Crossing shopping center that’s also home to Rodman’s Discount Store, Megenagna Ethiopian Market, and more.
According to Maryland Newsletters, Advance Auto Parts has pulled a permit to begin interior construction in the former Walgreens space that closed permanently in November as part of the chain’s plan to close 1,200 locations by 2012.
Advance Auto Parts is a “leading automotive aftermarket parts provider that serves both professional installer and do-it-yourself customers.” and has additional locations throughout Montgomery County. No opening timeframe has been announced.
