The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating the April 26 homicide of 20-year-old Henry Krishawn Gilbert of Clarksburg, who was found shot inside a vehicle that had crashed into a townhouse on Brookridge Court in Montgomery Village. The incident was initially reported as a collision before being ruled a homicide.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 11:51 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the location for the report of a vehicle that crashed into a townhouse. Upon arrival, officers located Gilbert in the driver’s seat with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save his life, Gilbert was pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore conducted an autopsy and ruled the death a homicide. No suspect is in custody at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
