El Patio Argentine Restaurant has signed on to take over the space at 9755 Traville Gateway Drive–previously the home of Nantucket’s Reef in the Traville Village Center in Rockville.
El Patio opened in Rockville in 2001 and is currently located at 5240 Randolph Rd. in Loehmann’s Plaza. The restaurant is aiming for a fall 2025 opening timeframe for the new location in the Traville Village Center with the future of the current location to be determined. The menu can be seen here.
Per the restaurant: “El Patio Argentine Restaurant was opened in Rockville in 2001. We are a family owned restaurant that serves traditional home-style meals from Argentina in a casual dining atmosphere. With authentic recipes from our country El Patio is like a little piece of Argentina in Rockville.
We are a unique combination of Restaurant and Bakery with a large number of packaged goods from Argentina and the greatest variety of Argentinean wines in the metropolitan area.
Come and enjoy breakfast with fresh pastries (facturas) and a variety of coffees, or enjoy our discounted lunch menu Monday through Friday, or our full service dinner with an extended menu and specials. Our specialties include empanadas and quiches with several vegetarian options, sausages (chorizos), chimichurri sauce, milanesas and traditional Argentinean barbecue (parrillada).”
